Hey again folks, I'm not good at keeping conversation going but I really enjoyed reading your answers last time we did this :) So if you feel like sharing again, I'd love to read about what you're playing, your achievements, some news you want to share, etc.

I've stuck to Layton's Mystery Journey and am more than half way through it. I must say I don't love it but it's enjoyable enough that I want to finish it.

I'm still playing New Horizons daily at the moment. Nothing much is going on over there so I think I'll get a new villager to shake things up a bit.

I've bought Heaven's Vault but haven't played it yet. I'm trying to clear some games off my queue before starting this one :) I might play it with my dad and brother too. I think they'd enjoy it.

I'm helping my dad play Immortals Fenyx Rising from time to time. It's fun.

I picked up some new hidden object games on the Steam Lunar New Year sale and have already finished one of them (Dark Arcana: the Carnival) which was pretty much, you know, a hidden object game. Quite fine for the couple hours I spent. I went back to my sloooow attempt to play Final Fantasy XV and my replay of Dragon Age 2 and made some good progress in both (by which I mean plodding along clearing out the side quests.) Also some Picross S3 and the usual Final Fantasy XIV MMO shenanigans.

Still playing a bunch of FFXIV. Beat Stormblood through the pre-patch quests, working on the patch stuff now.

I've also started playing FFVIII, to practice Japanese and because two podcasts I'm listening to are playing through it (Axe of the Blood God and Square Roots), and it turns out that there is way more text here than in the Zelda games I previously played in Japanese, or even in FFVI (and definitely more than FFI). I can't play for very long at a time because it's mentally exhausting. I'm about halfway through Disc One now (just finished the train mission with Rinoa) and planning to play more tonight.

My girlfriend is trying to get me into Genshin Impact, but I'm a little wary. It is a lot like Breath of the Wild, but the co-op she wants to do doesn't seem very robust to me. And the gacha aspect makes me nervous...though running around the world and climbing things is what I loved about BotW...I'm torn.
