What are you all playing right now?

I'm staying away from Steam because I don't have time to get absorbed into anything serious right now and therefore sticking to mobile games. Right now I'm into Tiny Tower and Tiny Tower Vegas because I love the retro art, the humor, and elevators (not kidding). It's very simple and you can play for as little or as long as you want. Doesn't require wi-fi either.

I am currently playing Township on my phone, with occasional forays into Fishdom. Both of these games are good at giving you the premium currency without you having to buy it, as long as you don't mind the occasional request to watch an ad.

I am also playing Kingdom of Loathing, which my boyfriend introduced me to lo these many years ago (seriously I think it was 2005) and which I find delightful because they never stop expanding and adding to the game.

(On Steam I mostly play hidden-object puzzle games, which take a day or so and are then forgotten, but which keep me occupied.)

(The icon is actually some of the early in-game art drawn by the Kingdom of Loathing devs. It's gotten ... slightly better. Part of the charm.)

I was playing Tribez for a while, it just became too cumbersome with all the islands &c.

I loved the little stick figures! (Do they not do those anymore?)

Some of the art is still very primitive *g* but apparently they did hire someone who could draw a little better so some of the newer monsters &c are slightly more, um, representational. But all the old stuff remains as it was.

So much has changed. SO MUCH. I wandered off for about a year and then had no idea how anything worked anymore. Thank bob for the wiki.

I got sucked into Township about four months ago and I've actually really enjoyed it. And how cute is the Easter event? I throw them some money every once in awhile when I get impatient, but I do like how it's not really required to play. Also if you like match 3s, the same company does Gardenscapes: New Acres which is cute.

I recently developed a love for hidden object games and found a few for the 3DS, but I hadn't thought to look for some on Steam yet! They're one of the best kinds of games for de-stressing, imo, even if they're not usually all that memorable.

I've been playing Fallout 4. I bought it some time ago (along with the DLC pass) and then didn't have brain to play it.

(I still know nothing about what's going to happen.)

How is Fallout 4, anyway? I've heard very mixed things as a fan of the isometric Fallouts and New Vegas over 3. Like, a friend bought it at release, played it for five hours, and hasn't touched it since.

It's been pretty neat! Sometimes it's a little frustrating with the whole gigantic part of it, but so far it's been neat.

(I really enjoyed Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but I think part of that is because I'd been there. Never been to the Boston area.)

Guild Wars 2 has its April Fools festival Super Adventure Box up right now so I'm doing that and working my way through Mass Effect Andromeda, hopefully before I get spoiled, haha. And I'm in an online Mouse Guard campaign with some friends.

Though I'm also still managing to keep my virtual succulents alive in Viridi, and my friend mentioned I Love Hue which I've been working through stages of every night as a relaxing pre-bedtime game. You take scrambled colored tiles and rearrange them into a gradient. Nice color theory exercise, too.

omg, rearranging those colored tiles is so stressful for me. I salute you!

I mostly solo, but sometimes pug a group to hit a boss or something. Though if you want help maybe I could help some? When are you usually on? Disclaimer that I'm okay at most of world 1 at this point, but I'm not very good at world 2 yet/don't do tribulation at all, ahah.

yeah world 2 is where I slip up. I may be able to, today. but I got stuff to do today and I don't know how long it's going to take which might not be till this evening.

I've gotta check out I Love Hue, then! Color theory is definitely something I could use some practice in...

Warframe. So much warframe

I can't stop

I really need to work on some other games but Warframe keeps calling to me and it's so easy to pick up and put down whenever I want to.

Hi, I'm new so I figured jumping in is fine? Anyway.

I've been doing a lot of mobile gaming for the most part, Township, Gardenscapes, Pocket Plants, and then a lot of mobile board games like Tokaido, Ascension, and Ticket to Ride. Videogames I've been almost entirely playing Overwatch and then playing Dragon Age: Inquisition for the.... fifth time? >.>

I just started playing Blaster Master Zero on the Switch we fortuitously managed to snag a couple weeks back. I don't want to start Breath of the Wild until I work my way through a bit more of my backlog--and I'm trying to chrono-game the Zelda games in Japanese for more language practice, and I'm only up to Ocarina of Time so far.

I just finished Owlboy, where I loved the art, loved the music, and thought the gameplay was meh. photo 3327b7f6b45a33781e80dce4e4461510-d4ipx9c.gif Ten years of work and the art shows it, but it wasn't sure what kind of game it wanted to be.

What is Blaster Master Zero about

It's a remake of the old NES game Blaster Master, with most of the Nintendo Hard stuff ameliorated--there are save points instead of limited continues, an actual map, and so on. Also an anime-as-hell story as opposed to everything plot-related found in the manual. So far, I really like it, though I'm not that far in.

The review from Rock, Paper, Shotgun made it clear it wasn't without flaws but I couldn't resist.

RPS is where I first heard about it too, and the reason I bought it!

It's not a bad game, I just wish that the designers had leaned more toward the leisurely flying and exploring side of the game, and less the timing-based boss fights and precision flying corridors. photo emot-sweatdrop.gif

I'm 50 hours into my first play through of Mass Effect Andromeda. I'm also playing the multi-player part.

On my phone, I am playing Rollercoaster Tycoon. It's a lot of fun!

I used to play Tiny Tower, it was really fun! I'd almost forgotten about it.

Currently I'm making my way through Pokemon Moon. I started playing it when it came out, had to set it aside when life happened, and have finally gotten to pick it back up. Also Stardew Valley or The Sims 4 when I have a chance, although those usually require a bit more of a time investment!

It's really cool to see the variety in the games everyone's playing!

I've been playing Final Fantasy Record Keeper and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius on my phone, and Persona 5 (eeeeeee!) on PS4. With side forays into Magical Starsign on my DS.
