I haven't played a lot of PC games but I started playing Banished again when mods were introduced (only to pick up where I left off...).
My favorite mobile games at the moment are Hay Day, which I like a lot because it's a smart freemium and that's a rare thing, and Marvel Puzzle Quest, a match-3 game with a pinch of deck building/card combos, which, to me, makes what would be otherwise a boring and repetitive game interesting. Also not too bad for a freemium, but having a bigger team shouldn't cost that much money. That made me not want to spend it on other stuff and keep purchases to a minimum whereas I've spent more on Hay Day for far less important things.
Favorite new board game is Black Fleet because it's pretty simple and it makes you interact with all other players in a way that is free of guilt (Eurogamer here who doesn't like 'attacking' other players).
It's between some Nintendo 64 and Gamecube games that I spend hours with; The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Star Fox Adventures, Geist, Star Fox 64, Mario Kart 64 and Double Dash, Super Smash Bros Melee, Lost Kingdoms 1...
Once I find my copy of one of my most favorite Gamecube games ever (Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem), I'll be starting a new game of that too! That game's so awesome, and one of a kind.
